The source of inspiration for my designs has stemmed from geometric forms within metropolitan environments. My designs play with layering and pattern to accentuate shadow and form, ultimately distorting reality.
The concept of my work centres on my curiosity of space, shadow and how our urban landscape entwines and consumes the world around us. How we are gradually being ensnared by a world of our own creation is emphasised in my work through the notion of entrapment.
I have a fascination with tonal contrast, which I explore through the use of vivid colours. These strong tones capture attention and emphasize the formal qualities of the structure.
